Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile victim who was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>Following a thorough investigation, the FWPD Homicide Unit identified two suspects: 24-year-old Davareion Gentry and 18-year-old Duane Stevenson III.<\/p>\n<p>On July 23, 2026, the Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Task Force located Gentry and Stevenson III at separate locations within Fort Wayne and took them into custody. Both individuals were preliminarily charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, and Criminal Recklessness \u2013 Shooting into an occupied dwelling. They were transported to the Allen County Jail<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a
