Women’s Night of Shoes<\/strong> starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Fort Wayne Country Club on August 11th. This night for women will feature a silent auction, a shoe fashion show, and tasty treats! All of it benefits the Women’s Bureau’s REACT program and Walk A Mile in Her Shoes (more info on Walk A Mile found below!). You can pay at the door or register in advance at www.womensbureau.com. Click on “Special Events.”<\/p>\n

Walk A Mile In Her Shoes\u00c2\u00ae 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

Join us Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Headwaters Park East in downtown Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes raises funds and awareness for the REACT program (formerly RAP) of the Women’s Bureau to stop rape and sexual assault.<\/p>\n

This year we’ll be trying to set a world record and we need every man – and woman – we can get!<\/p>\n

Registration begins at 7 a.m.<\/p>\n

Opening ceremony begins at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n

AND THIS JUST IN<\/strong>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE WALK A MILE ACTIVITIES WILL BE THE “WE Market for WAM”; WE – a.k.a. Women’s Enterprise – program of the Women’s Bureau that helps entrepreneurs realize their dreams. At 7:00a.m. the market opens and many current Women’s Enterprise clients will be selling their wares. It’s a BLOCK PARTY FOR THE WOMEN’S BUREAU AT HEADWATERS ON SEPTEMBER 11!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
