The Do it Best Foundation celebrates Cookin\u2019 Fort Wayne success with major check presentation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 23, 2026 \u2014 The Do it Best Foundation celebrated the success of Cookin\u2019 Fort Wayne with a check presentation to the event\u2019s beneficiary, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana (RMHC of Northeast Indiana). The $100,000 donation represents a contribution from the Do it Best Foundation in addition to proceeds raised during the successful Cookin\u2019 Fort Wayne event held last month.<\/p>\n

Cookin\u2019 Fort Wayne brought together over 70 local chefs and more than 750 community members in support of families with hospitalized children. Hosted by the Do it Best Foundation, the event was a memorable evening of community impact, with all proceeds benefiting RMHC of Northeast Indiana.<\/p>\n

Do it Best Foundation Executive Director Curtis Smith said, \u201cWe were thrilled by the incredible support shown at this year\u2019s Cookin\u2019 Fort Wayne event, from the participating chefs and sponsors to the more than 750 attendees who helped make the evening such a success. Bringing the community together in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana made for a truly meaningful event, and we\u2019re proud the proceeds will help provide families with the support they need during difficult circumstances.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery family who walks through our doors is navigating a medical crisis with their child,\u201d said Jenifer Veatch, CEO of RMHC of Northeast Indiana. \u201cThis partnership with the Do it Best Foundation and the funds raised through Cookin\u2019 Fort Wayne help us continue our mission of keeping families close during difficult times and providing the support they need while their child receives medical care. We\u2019re incredibly grateful for their commitment to the families we serve.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Do it Best Foundation has kicked off planning next year\u2019s Cookin\u2019 Fort Wayne event, which will take place on May 13, 2027 at Electric Works.<\/p>\n
