Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 9, 2026) \u2014 The Do it Best Foundation hosted its sixth annual Fore the Cause golf tournament on June 8, raising a record-breaking $1.73 million to support nonprofit organizations across the country and shattering the $1.5 million fundraising goal.<\/p>\n

“Watching this event grow over the last six years into a record-breaking $1.7 million fundraiser is deeply inspiring,\u201d said Curtis Smith, executive director of the Do it Best Foundation. \u201cEvery single registration and sponsorship allows us to expand our reach, giving us the resources to step up for incredible nonprofits serving our communities and making a true impact.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nearly 450 golfers, including Do it Best suppliers, vendors and partners, participated in the event, which was held across four of Fort Wayne\u2019s premier golf courses: Fort Wayne Country Club, Orchard Ridge, Pine Valley and Sycamore Hills.<\/p>\n

The tournament supports the Foundation\u2019s mission to fund nonprofit organizations and agencies that serve children, families and underserved communities nationwide. Since its founding in 2019, the Foundation has awarded over $2 million in grants to nonprofit organizations across the country.<\/p>\n
