UPDATE @ 3:14 pm<\/strong>: The Agenda is available for viewing, click here. \u00c2\u00a0Nothing about the naming rights deal. \u00c2\u00a0There will be an “Executive Session” probably before the regular meeting. \u00c2\u00a0These sessions are not open to the public. \u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Posted earlier<\/strong>: \u00c2\u00a0There’s a Redevelopment Commission meeting scheduled for today at 4 pm in the City Council chambers at the City-County building. \u00c2\u00a0The agenda has yet to be posted to the City’s website. \u00c2\u00a0One item that will definitely be on the agenda is a resolution allowing Cable Access to broadcast Redevelopment Commission meetings. \u00c2\u00a0This resolution is more of a formality as no objections were raised by Commissioners when suggested by Greg Leatherman, Executive Director of Redevelopment in August. \u00c2\u00a0This suggestion of openness had first been raised by Commissioner Casey Cox back in a special meeting in May. \u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another item that might possibly be on the agenda is a resolution approving the naming rights deal with Parkview Health. \u00c2\u00a0If it is on the agenda, however, the documents detailing the agreement will probably not be available to the public until they have been signed. \u00c2\u00a0I say this because it seems to be the policy of the Redevelopment Department not to make such agreements available until after they have been approved and signed by all necessary parties. \u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
