The trail segment is within 1 mile of approximately 9,240 residents in Fort Wayne and Huntertown.<\/p>\n<p>Currently in Fort Wayne, the Fishing Line Trail runs between West Cook Road and West Washington Center Road. Plans for the trail include links to Noble and LaGrange counties. When complete, the Fishing Line Trail will run between Fort Wayne and Grand Rapids, Michigan.<\/p>\n<p>Construction of the Carroll Road segment of the Fishing Line Trail should begin in 2027 with completion in the spring of 2028.<\/p>\n<p>The Fort Wayne Area Trails Network consists of 165 miles of trails, with 110 miles inside City limits.
