Ghostbusters in Concert is Coming to Foellinger Theatre<\/strong>
\nA symphonic experience with live orchestra<\/em><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 1, 2026) \u2013 Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation announces that Fort Wayne\u2019s Foellinger Theatre will host Ghostbusters in Concert on Saturday, October 10, 2026. It\u2019s one of the 35 city tour stops across North America on the Ghostbusters in Concert National Fall Tour\u2014a concert experience of the beloved classic film with live orchestra brought by Schirmer Theatrical (part of Wise Music Group).<\/p>\n

The fall tour invites a new generation of fans to experience Columbia Pictures\u2019 supernatural comedy in an immersive, live concert setting. The tour continues the expansion of the iconic franchise for audiences of all ages\u2014uniting longtime fans and newcomers for a one-of-a-kind cinematic and symphonic event.<\/p>\n

Audiences will see the original 1984 Ghostbusters film\u2014written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, produced and directed by Ivan Reitman\u2014presented on a massive HD screen, accompanied by an orchestra performing the iconic score and soundtrack live to picture. Peter M. Bernstein, son of Academy Award\u00ae-winning composer Elmer Bernstein and an orchestrator on the original film, joins Schirmer Theatrical\u2019s creative team in reconstructing his father\u2019s score for the live performance.<\/p>\n

Since its premiere in October 2018, the concert has been performed in dozens of cities around the world. This new tour builds on the global success of Ghostbusters Film with Live Orchestra concerts produced by Schirmer Theatrical, presented by symphonies and concert halls across the globe including London\u2019s Royal Albert Hall, Wolf Trap with the National Symphony Orchestra and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n

In addition to standard tickets, Ghostbusters in Concert is partnering with artist experience agency Please & Thank You to offer fans a limited amount of exclusive VIP packages. These curated experiences go beyond the concert, offering fans a pre-show replica memorabilia walk, exclusive merchandise collectibles and more.
