Serving 40 years in the same judicial role is almost unprecedented and reflects a career marked by exceptional dedication to the Allen County community and the administration of justice.<\/p>\n<p>During his tenure with the Allen Superior Court, Magistrate Houk has presided over approximately 40,000 estate cases and 10,000 guardianship matters. His work has played a critical role in guiding families through probate proceedings and protecting the interests of vulnerable individuals in guardianship matters.<\/p>\n<p>Magistrate Houk\u2019s long-standing service reflects a deep commitment to fairness, diligence, and compassion in the work of the courts. Over the course of his career, he has helped tens of thousands of Allen County residents navigate complex legal proceedings during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Judge Jennifer DeGroote noted, &#8220;his steady leadership, deep knowledge of probate law, and thoughtful consideration for the families who have come before him have left a lasting impact on our court and community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Allen Superior Court expresses its deepest gratitude to Magistrate Houk for his remarkable service and lasting contributions to the court and the community.
