Fort Wayne International Airport and Allegiant Air Begin New Route to Fort Lauderdale, Florida<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (November 20, 2025) \u2013 Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today begins service from Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in Florida. To celebrate, the company is offering one-way fares on the new route as low as $57.*<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re excited to launch service to Fort Lauderdale, offering Fort Wayne travelers direct access to another vibrant Florida destination,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer. \u201cThis expansion reflects our commitment to delivering travel that\u2019s more accessible, affordable, and enjoyable. Through our brand of all-nonstop flights, passengers are empowered to customize their dream vacation at unbeatable value.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new flights will operate up to twice weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The beginning of service between FWA and FLL brings Allegiant\u2019s non-stop routes at FWA to eight \u2013 including service to Fort Myers\/Punta Gorda, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Orlando\/Sanford, Phoenix\/Mesa, Tampa Bay\/St. Petersburg, and Sarasota. FWA also offers non-stop service to Chicago O\u2019Hare, Charlotte, Dallas Fort-Worth (American Airlines); Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis (Delta Air Lines); Chicago O\u2019Hare (United Airlines) \u2013 bringing the airport\u2019s total non-stop destinations to 14 on four airlines.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the beginning of non-stop FWA to FLL service, airport staff is planning a gate sendoff to coincide with the first departing flight. The gate celebration will include balloons and photo backdrop, custom FLL themed cookies, specialty FLL beverages, swag and more.<\/p>\n
