Public Art Commission invites residents to showing of documentary about
\nHarvester neighborhood<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 27, 2025) \u2013 The Fort Wayne Public Art Commission, in partnership with local media producer William Bryant Rozier, invites the public to see the Harvester Neighborhood Documentary at 2 p.m. in the theater of the downtown Allen County Public Library, Saturday, April 5.<\/p>\n

Doors to the theater open at 1 p.m. Rozier and neighborhood leaders will be on hand to talk about the making of the documentary after the showing.<\/p>\n

The Harvester Neighborhood Documentary highlights conversations with residents, pastors and business leaders in the community. It also touches on the history of International Harvester and Zollner Corporation and recent efforts to renew neighborhood connections and business growth.<\/p>\n

The documentary is part of the Public Art Commission\u2019s SHOUT-OUT: Fort Wayne program, which is designed to empower neighborhoods to develop and activate their unique identities through public art. Local filmmaker Rozier serves as the project manager for phase one of the SHOUT-OUT program and with his guidance, residents of the Harvester and East Central neighborhoods have created audio and video artwork that showcases conversations with residents and video of neighborhood activities.<\/p>\n

The SHOUT-OUT program is funded by the Public Art Giveback contributions that are managed by the Public Art Commission.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The City of Fort Wayne\u2019s Community Development Division works to enhance economic opportunity, build strong neighborhoods and ensure a dynamic framework for growth and development. The Division\u2019s departments include Neighborhood Code Compliance, Neighborhoods, Office of Housing and Neighborhood Services, Redevelopment\/Economic Development, and Planning and Policy<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
