City of Fort Wayne and Allen County government offices will be closed January 30, 2019, due to anticipated extreme weather conditions.<\/p>\n

News release from the City of Fort Wayne Indiana and the Allen County Board of Commissioners:<\/p>\n

City of Fort Wayne and Allen County offices to be closed Wednesday<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 29, 2019) – City of Fort Wayne and Allen County government offices will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 30 due to anticipated extreme weather conditions. In addition, a Travel Watch is being issued due to the subzero temperatures. While road conditions are generally good, extreme cold weather makes roadside emergencies dangerous and are threatening to the safety of the public. <\/p>\n

In addition, Allen County Circuit and Superior Courts and Adult Probation will be closed on Wednesday. All Parks and Recreation facilities in the City will be closed on Wednesday as well.<\/p>\n

Essential services in the City such as public safety (police and fire operations), water and wastewater treatment plants, public works functions, and the 311 Call Center will continue to operate as normal.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
