Owners Pam and Bob Michel have been in the antique business for over 40 years, and have amassed quite a collection of items. \u201cWe have stuff from our home in our personal collection we are selling, along with items from our collective workshops. A lot of the items have a historical connection to Fort Wayne too.\u201d Some of those items include items pulled from GE prior to renovations, architectural pieces from the now demolished Saint Paul\u2019s Catholic Church, and art from local artists.<\/p>\n<p>The estate sale will take place at Mercantile on Main, which is located at 1753 W. Main Street in downtown Fort Wayne. The sale runs September 4-7 from 10 am to 4 pm daily.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that the sale takes place during the West Central Home &#038; Garden Tour, which celebrates old homes. Many of the homes feature antique styling and decor. Each year Pam &#038; Bob tour the homes and find items that look familiar. \u201cI can\u2019t tell you how many times we\u2019ve gone through a home on tour and I\u2019ve found lighting I\u2019ve done or other pieces from Mercantile.
