Most County Offices CLOSED on Labor Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 26, 2025) – On Monday, September 1, 2025, most Allen County Offices will be closed in recognition of the Labor Day holiday, reopening for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 2nd. <\/p>\n

County offices that provide 24\/7 functions do not close for holidays. Some of these include the Sheriff\u2019s Department, Community Corrections, Allen County Juvenile Center, Youth Services Center, and the Highway Department. If you are unsure whether or not a department is open, call ahead of your visit. County phone numbers are listed on the website<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
