Parkview Women’s Health Center to host upcoming events<\/strong><\/p>\n

(June 1, 2010) – Parkview’s Women’s Health Center will host several upcoming events. The programs will be held at the Women’s Health Center on the Parkview North campus, entrance 2, Medical Office Building, 11123 Parkview Plaza Dr. Registration for the events is required by calling (260) 672-6500.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

How Can You Be Intimate<\/strong>
\n6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 8
\nDr. Craig Hamilton, Fort Wayne Urology, will present a seminar to discuss a wide range of treatment options for erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence and enlarged prostate. The program is free for Women’s Health Center members and $5 for non-members.<\/p>\n

Healthy Earth, Healthy You – Inside and Out<\/strong>
\n6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 9
\nParkview dietitians will discuss how simple changes in your daily health and household routines can make a positive impact on your health and the environment. The cost is $10 for Women’s Health Center members and $20 for non-members.<\/p>\n

Bladder Scan Screening for Urine Retention<\/strong>
\n7-9 a.m. Wednesday, June 16
\n1:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22
\nA 10-minute, non-invasive bladder scan is available for women and men who may be suffering from urinary challenges. The cost is $5 for Women’s Health Center members and $10 for non-members.<\/p>\n

Postpartum Pals Mom Time<\/strong>
\n11 a.m. Thursday, June 17
\nLeslie Cook, Sexual Assault Treatment Center, will be the guest speaker. There is no charge to attend.<\/p>\n

Pelvic Organ Prolapse<\/strong>
\n6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 30
\nDr. John Drake, Northeast OB\/GYN, and Teri Maciejewski, Healthy Expectations, will discuss causes of uterine prolapse, common symptoms and treatment options. The event is free for Women’s Health Center members and $5 for non-members.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
