\u201cNew Haven District\u201d and Fieldhouse Groundbreaking: Card & Associates and New Haven Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Haven, Indiana (August 8, 2025) – After several years of planning, review and refinement, Card & Associates leaders and Mayor Steve McMichael announced the \u201cNew Haven District\u201d with a groundbreaking for the New Haven Fieldhouse. The planning team has made substantial progress in updating the District\u2019s location and public-private partnership.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so excited to break ground on the Fieldhouse at The New Haven District. This day has been years in the making. That we find ourselves in this moment is a testament to the grit, determination and dedication of all our partners,\u201d said Mayor McMichael. \u201cNow, we look forward to the completion of the Fieldhouse, ribbon cutting and ultimately, welcoming youth sports teams and families from all across the region to New Haven.\u201d<\/p>\n

Today, the New Haven District team begins the construction phase focused on the $31 million fieldhouse and infrastructure construction. The 140,000 square feet Fieldhouse will include five basketball courts that flex to ten volleyball courts. An additional 65,000 square feet of indoor turf can be used for additional sports and can be used for alternate purposes. Full master plan uses will focus on welcoming and supporting Fieldhouse athletes and their families.<\/p>\n

The most immediate, high-profile commitment came from Parkview Sports Medicine (PSM), which offers services such as athletic rehabilitation, orthopedics, sports nutrition, performance training and more. Retail and lodging are also envisioned as early master plan commitments.<\/p>\n

Card & Associates echoed Mayor McMichael\u2019s appreciation for the entire City of New Haven team and partners. \u201cCard & Associates has similar multi-use venues statewide. It is always time well spent to focus on the unique opportunities of the community,\u201d said Andy Card, Card & Associates Founder. \u201cThe New Haven District\u2019s first partner, Parkview Sports Medicine, has already provided valuable input to help shape this master plan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Card & Associates multi-use developments showcase a multi-sport fieldhouse as a key anchor. Because each fieldhouse welcomes thousands of athletes annually, access to expert medical care is essential.
\n\u201cAt Parkview Sports Medicine, we\u2019re committed to an athlete\u2019s whole health, from nutrition and training to a higher level of care, if necessary,\u201d said Tommy Schoegler, vice president of the orthopedic service line at Parkview Health. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to be a part of the New Haven Fieldhouse and are eager to introduce PSM to the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

New Haven city officials are leading the effort to bring this important attraction to New Haven with impact components that enable Card & Associates to move forward now.<\/p>\n
