In addition to being mailed to every water customer of City Utilities, <a href=\"https:\/\/aroundfortwayne.com\/news\/wp-content\/docs\/City_of_Fort_Wayne\/City_Utilities\/AWQR\/2022_Annual_Water_Quality_Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">the report is available online<\/a> at: https:\/\/utilities.cityoffortwayne.org\/drinking-water\/water-quality. Anyone desiring additional copies may call 427-1234.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Wayne City Utilities takes water from the St. Joseph River and treats it at the Three Rivers Filtration Plant using several processes, including filtration and disinfection. The Plant can produce 72 million gallons of treated water per day at maximum capacity.<\/p>\n<p>City Utilities&#8217; chemists test water for more than 120 substances at all stages in the water treatment process. The annual report shows test results for several substances regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).
