Solar Zoning Ordinance Amendment Public Hearing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Allen County, Indiana (June 3, 2025) \u2013 The Allen County Plan Commission will hold a public hearing and business meeting at the Memorial Coliseum on Petition ZORD-2025-0005, Solar Amendments to Title 3 of Allen County Code<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Attendees should note the following details<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

WHEN<\/strong>: Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 5:30 PM<\/p>\n

WHERE<\/strong>: Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Conference Center, 4000 Parnell Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Parking is free for this meeting.<\/p>\n

DETAILS<\/strong>: Due to an expected higher volume of attendees compared to other Plan Commission public hearings and business meetings, special Rules of Procedure have been drawn up and is available for download here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pro-Solar and Anti-Solar Group presenters must sign up by June 5 at 5:00 PM \u2013 one week before the Special Public Hearing. Pro-Solar and Anti-Solar Groups will have a total of 15 minutes each to present their side to the Plan Commission. To register to speak, email acfwspecialprojects@allencounty.us<\/p>\n

Individual Public Speakers must sign up on the day of the meeting. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the doorway of the hearing room beginning one (1) hour before the start of the meeting at 4:30 PM and will be taken down at 5:30 PM, when the meeting begins. If you are in line when the meeting begins, you will be allowed to sign up. Public Speakers will have 90 seconds each to speak.<\/p>\n

Concession stands will not be open during the hearing and business meeting but vending machines with water and soda will be available.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
