    On 2\/22\/2023 at 9:10 PM, Fort Wayne Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Julian Street and Wayne Trace reference the earlier homicide that occurred in the 6000 block of Bunt Drive. 25yo Eric Underwood-McCarrol was taken into custody and charged with one count of murder. He is currently confined at the Allen County Jail. Assisting the Homicide Unit with the investigation was the Gang and Violent Crimes Unit, the Narcotics Division, the Aerial Support Unit, Crime Scene Management, and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
