Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 19, 2025) \u2013 With 13 years in the barber industry and a passion for music as a local DJ, Sasha D. Chaney is a force in Fort Wayne\u2019s creative and business community. As the visionary behind Legendary Lounge & Co., she is redefining the city\u2019s grooming culture by blending high-end barber services with vibrant artistic and social experiences.<\/p>\n

Chaney and her team are holding a grand opening of their new, larger space on Saturday, May 24. The original location was on St. Joe Road and opened in 2020. This spring, they moved Legendary Lounge & Co. Barbershop into the former Thirsty Camel location at 118 W. Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne. It is a luxury barbershop that offers elite grooming services and a positive atmosphere for men and women. They offer traditional services as well as facials, hair color, braids, fades, and hot towel shaves. It also houses a juice bar inside of the barbershop, Legendary Life Juice Bar, with cold press juices.<\/p>\n

Chaney has been pushing the limits as a woman owning a barbershop which is traditionally operated by males. Chaney says, \u201cMy love for Fort Wayne fuels my mission to bring unique and immersive events to my hometown\u2014from luxury barber experiences to art shows and the signature Cocktails & Cuts events. I embrace the city\u2019s growth and am dedicated to creating a space where culture, craftsmanship, and community converge.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to growing her business, she has a passion for mentoring other barbers. \u201cI love teaching younger, fresh barbers pro tips and I do my best to lead by example. I want to share what I\u2019ve learned to help others grow. I want them to be successful too.\u201d Through her work, Sasha is not just shaping styles\u2014she\u2019s shaping the future of Fort Wayne\u2019s creative scene, one legendary experience at a time.<\/p>\n
