Join the History Center for the George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 19, 2025) – On Sunday, April 6, the History Center will present the next lecture of the 2024-2025 George R. Mather Sunday Lecture Series. In this lecture, \u201cGenealogical Research Using Church Records,\u201d Curtis R. Sylvester, will present guests with a guide to researching one\u2019s family ancestors using the records of Jewish and Christian congregations and archives. This presentation will include a review of genealogy in the Old and New Testaments and a historical survey of Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodox, Protestants, English Reformed, and contemporary religious societies.<\/p>\n

The lecture begins at 2 PM and admission is free to the public.<\/p>\n
