\nFresh Colors and Crisp New Design for Hispanic Heritage Games in 2025<\/em><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 13, 2025) \u2013 The Fort Wayne TinCaps will have a new style for their Hispanic Heritage games in 2025. Playing as the Manzanas Luchadoras (\u201cFighting Apples\u201d in Spanish), the new season brings a new style with fresh colors, a crisp newly designed jersey, and a vibrant new hat.<\/p>\n

As part of Minor League Baseball\u2019s Copa de la Diversi\u00f3n (\u201cFun Cup\u201d), a season-long event series designed to embrace the culture and values of the local Hispanic community, the TinCaps originally launched their Manzanas Luchadoras look in 2020. After a few seasons with a green and red color scheme, the fresh style is highlighted by bright green and yellow.<\/p>\n

The hat is now yellow with the luchador mask-wearing fighting apple logo still at the center. The jersey includes a new wordmark in white outlined in bright green. The jersey is yellow up top, with bright green piping, and blends to bright green at the bottom. The sleeves are yellow at the shoulders with green diamonds dividing to white near the elbows.<\/p>\n

The TinCaps will debut their new Manzanas Luchadoras style on Friday, May 16, 2025, when they host the Detroit Tigers-affiliated West Michigan Whitecaps, who\u2019ll be playing as Las Calaveras (\u201cSkulls\u201d). This night will also be the first of 28 postgame fireworks shows this season.
\nNew Manzanas Luchadoras merchandise will first be available in The Orchard Team Store at Parkview Field on this night. Tickets to all TinCaps home games \u2014 starting at just $7 \u2014 are on sale at https:\/\/www.milb.com\/fort-wayne\/tickets\/single-game-tickets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The TinCaps also have Manzanas Luchadoras Hispanic Heritage games on Tuesday, July 1 (7:05 p.m.) against the A\u2019s-affiliated Lansing Lugnuts, branded as the Locos, and on Sunday, August 3 (1:05 p.m.) against the Los Angeles Dodgers-affiliated Great Lakes Loons, who\u2019ll be the Pepinillos Picantes del Norte (\u201cSpicy Pickles of the North\u201d). The first 1,000 fans at these Hispanic Heritage games will receive a Manzanas Luchadoras rally towel.<\/p>\n

The Manzanas Luchadoras moniker refers to Lucha Libre freestyle wrestling, a staple in Mexican culture, which blends showmanship and athleticism through the luchadores\u2019 vibrant wardrobes and rapid-pace movement. Hispanic Heritage games at Parkview Field feature elements like Latin music and dancing, along with the regular fun of a TinCaps game.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Opening Day for the TinCaps is coming up on Friday, April 4 (7:05 p.m.) against Lansing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
