The Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to the 5500 block of Kelso Lane in the Valley Hills addition on January 4, 2025, at 1221 hours.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

FWFD crews arrived on scene and found smoke showing from the residence. The homeowner and pets were safely outside the structure. Crews worked to quickly extinguish the fire within 10 minutes of arriving. <\/p>\n

The home was moderately damaged by the fire and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. <\/p>\n

The Fort Wayne Fire Department was assisted by NIPSCO, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, and Indiana Michigan Power.<\/p>\n
