High schools welcome Class of 2029 at orientation events<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 8, 2025) – Fort Wayne Community Schools welcomes incoming freshman and their families to explore the many exciting opportunities available at the District\u2019s five traditional high schools and the Fort Wayne Virtual Academy.<\/p>\n

During the Freshman Orientation and Open Houses, eighth-grade students will get a firsthand look at the Freshman Schools of Success and learn how FWCS is connecting core academic learning with real-world experiences while developing essential skills, such as collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking.<\/p>\n
