Parkview Cancer Center Launches New Education Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n

(May 3, 2010) – Parkview’s Comprehensive Cancer Center is offering a series of new educational programs on a variety of topics, many of which are cancer-related. All programs are free and open to the public and are held in the Wellness Center on the third floor of the Parkview Comprehensive Cancer, entrance 4 on the Parkview North campus.<\/p>\n

Answers from a Cancer Expert<\/strong> – Thursdays from 1-3 p.m.
\nReceive easy-to-understand, practical answers to your cancer questions. The one-on-one, Q&A sessions are led by Nancy Ehmke, clinical nurse specialist in oncology, Parkview Comprehensive Cancer Center. Ehmke has been a nurse at Parkview for 27 years. The service is aimed at helping patients and others feel comfortable asking questions in a casual setting.<\/p>\n

Cancer 101<\/strong>
\nThese are one-hour classes led by Nancy Ehmke, who presents information in straightforward language, and questions are always welcome.<\/p>\n
