Parkview Health named among Top Places to Work in Healthcare by Becker\u2019s Hospital Review<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 22, 2024) \u2013 Parkview Health has been selected to Becker\u2019s Hospital Review\u2019s 150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare list for 2024.<\/p>\n

Parkview was one of only two Indiana hospital systems named to the list by Becker\u2019s, a top healthcare media company with print, digital and live event platforms.<\/p>\n

The Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team accepted nominations and assessed rankings and awards from reputable organizations such as Forbes, Newsweek, Great Place to Work and Fortune. The list is intended to highlight hospitals, health systems and healthcare companies that positively influence their employees and communities.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur co-workers are our greatest resource, so we strive every day to create the best workplace possible for them,\u201d said Dena Jacquay, chief administrative officer, Parkview Health. \u201cThe investment we make in our co-workers pays dividends in the high-quality care they return to our patients. As we continue to grow and look to add more people to our family of more than 16,000 co-workers, they can be confident knowing they\u2019re coming to one of the nation\u2019s best workplaces in healthcare.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Parkview\u2019s first-ever culture survey in 2023, more than 90% of co-workers agreed that they\u2019re proud to work for Parkview, and the health system has seen its retention rates not only beat national healthcare benchmarks, but also improve in the years since the pandemic when many workers shuffled employers and sought out new careers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe ensure our physicians, providers and co-workers are equipped to provide the best care and patient experience every day because of the support system we have in place,\u201d said Dr. Ray Dusman, president of physician and clinical enterprise, Parkview Health. \u201cExcellent care for patients starts with taking care of our co\u0002workers, enabling them to be fully focused and engaged on the important services they provide in our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n

The award from Becker\u2019s is the latest workplace recognition captured by Parkview. Since the start of 2024, Parkview Wabash, Parkview Whitley\/Parkview Kosciusko and Parkview Ortho hospitals were named Best Places to Work by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce<\/a> and Parkview Health was selected within the Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces<\/a> by the Inspiring Workplaces Group. Parkview was also named a Most Loved Workplace by both Newsweek<\/a> and the Best Practices Institute<\/a> and was selected as a Best-in-State Employer by Forbes<\/a> within the last year.<\/p>\n
