Parkview Women’s Health Center to host upcoming events<\/strong><\/p>\n

(April 29, 2010) Parkview’s Women’s Health Center will host several upcoming events. The programs will be held at the Women’s Health Center on the Parkview North campus, entrance 2, Medical Office Building, 11123 Parkview Plaza Dr. Registration for the events is required by calling (260) 672-6500.<\/p>\n

Unfolding Anxiety, Depression and Bipolar Disorder<\/strong>
\n6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, May 6
\nColleen Sanderson, Parkview Behavioral Health, will lead a discussion about a variety of mental disorders and how people can become educated to increase awareness and assistance. Sanderson will also explain how people can live a healthier lifestyle while dealing with a disorder. The event is free.<\/p>\n

National Women’s Check-Up Day<\/strong>
\n7-9 a.m. Tuesday, May 11
\n5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 12<\/p>\n

Check-ups are vital to early detection of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, mental health illnesses, and other disorders. Several screenings will be available:<\/p>\n
