In addition, these rises could also shift ice in the rivers that could lead to ice jams. This forecast is based on unobstructed flow and does not factor additional rises  associated with ice jams.<\/p>\n<p>PRECAUTIONARY\/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.<\/p>\n<p>Never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or local media for further statements and updated forecasts.<\/p>\n<p>Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.<\/p>\n<p>Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.<\/p>\n<p>Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Evacuations are necessary in River Haven.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL DETAILS<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At 10:00 PM EST Wednesday the stage was 5.6 feet.<\/li>\n<li>Forecast&#8230;The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Friday morning to a crest of 19.2 feet Saturday morning.
