The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane restrictions on Lima Road between Coliseum Boulevard and Edgewood Avenue in Fort Wayne, Indiana.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Paving project to begin on U.S. 27 in Fort Wayne<\/strong><\/p>\n

Allen County, Indiana (July 14, 2021) \u2013 The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane restrictions on U.S. 27\/Lima Road in Fort Wayne.<\/p>\n

Starting on or after July 18, crews will begin a resurfacing project on U.S. 27 from S.R. 930\/Coliseum Boulevard to Edgewood Avenue.<\/p>\n

One lane in each direction will be closed in the evenings after 6:30 and will be in place overnight. Lane restrictions will be removed in the mornings to allow for regular traffic flow. This work is expected to last for 10 days, weather permitting.<\/p>\n

INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and around all work zones.<\/p>\n

\nOn July 1, 2020, Governor Eric J. Holcomb signed the Indiana Hands-Free Law to reduce distracted driving across the state. Since then, drivers have been prohibited from holding a mobile device while their vehicles are in motion. With help from the Indiana State Police and other law enforcement agencies, over 5,400 citations and more than 10,500 warnings have been issued.
