The Allen County Coroner has identified Corbin Scott Cornett as the 36th Allen County Homicide in 2024.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting in the 1000 block of Huestis Avenue, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
An autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the next of kin of Corbin Scott Cornett, male, White, 18 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Cause of Death is Multiple Gunshot Wounds, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Corbin Scott Cornett is the 36th Homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
