Leaf Collection Complete
Biodegradable bags will be collected until December 31, 2024Fort Wayne, Indiana (December 13, 2024) – Fort Wayne Street Department crews completed leaf collection Thursday. They will continue to collect biodegradable bags until December 31, 2024. Residents with bagged leaves are asked to call 311 to schedule a pick-up. The bags need to be placed at the curb prior to calling 3-1-1.
In March 2024, the Street Department will announce two additional weeks for bagged leaf collection.
The Street Department would like to thank residents and neighborhoods for having leaves ready for collection in a safe and timely manner. Leaf collection is a team effort and an important service that’s provided to the public.
