The City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division has installed two new electric vehicle charging stations in the southeast quadrant.

Public Works Division Installs Two New EV Charging Stations

Fort Wayne, Indiana (October 8, 2024) – The City of Fort Wayne’s Public Works Division has installed two new electric vehicle charging stations in the southeast quadrant. One charging station is located on McKinnie Avenue, near Three Fountains Apartments. The second charging station is located at South Anthony Boulevard and McKinnie Avenue at McKinnie Commons.

With the two additions, the City currently owns 36 Level 2 chargers at 17 locations around Fort Wayne. The chargers are placed on both publicly-owned and privately-owned properties.
