Details/Summary:
On Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at 1235 hours, Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives arrested 26yo Desmond Carswell in a traffic stop in the area of Hayden Street and Hanna Street. Carswell was arrested for murder in connection to the homicide of 18yo Parker Billman that occurred on 08/27/2024 in the 600 block of Lewis Street. Carswell was arrested without incident and transported to the Allen County Jail. The Fort Wayne Homicide Unit was assisted in the investigation by the Gang and Violent Crime Unit, the Vice and Narcotics Division, the Aerial Support Unit, the Indiana State Police, the Allen County Prosecutors Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
