Details/Summary:
On July 6th,2024 at approximately 4:05am, FWPD received a report of a 2-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of South Lafayette Street and South Anthony Blvd. FWPD and FWFD arrived and found a gray sedan on fire and a white SUV in the ditch. 2 victims were found deceased on scene, and 2 others were transported to a local hospital with life-threatening condition by Medics.
At this time, it does appear that alcohol and speed were factors in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the FWPD FACT team, Allen County Coroner’s Officer, and Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
