Showers are expected to impact many areas for the remainder of this afternoon into this evening, and while most of the showers should be in the form of rain, some snow or a bit of sleet could mix in.

Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 18, 2022) – Weather Story 2:30 PM Monday 4/18/22: Showers are expected to impact many areas for the remainder of this afternoon into this evening. While most of the showers should be in the form of rain, some snow or a bit of sleet could mix in. A brief tenth or 2 of snow accumulating can’t be ruled out, but should quickly melt back off. Warmer weather will slowly move in over the coming days with a more pronounced increase after the passage of a warm front Wednesday night. Breezy conditions, along with increasing chances for showers (along with a rumble of thunder) will arrive ahead of the front late Wednesday afternoon and evening.
