Foellinger Foundation announces building renovation
Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 12, 2022) – Foellinger Foundation announces a renovation to their building, which will include more collaborative meeting spaces that will be open to the nonprofit community in Allen County.
“Our founder Helene Foellinger originally envisioned this building as a space where Allen County nonprofit leaders collaborated and ideated ways to uplift our community’s residents,” said Ed Kominowski, Foundation President. “We’re pleased to better position the facility for the ways in which we gather in the 21st century.” The building, located at 520 East Berry Street, was built in 1991.
Updates will include a refinished basement, six open meeting and collaboration spaces, four private meeting spaces, and more. These spaces will be available to Allen County nonprofit staff and leaders for one-on-one meetings, board meetings, group meetings, retreats, and more. The renovation is expected to be completed in Winter 2022.
Foellinger Foundation staff will be operating out of temporary offices on Dupont Road during the renovation. Mail should still be sent to 520 East Berry Street, and Foundation staff can still be reached at (260) 422-2900 or by email.
More information will be available closer to the project’s completion.
