The Foellinger Foundation Board of Directors has approved grants in the Early Childhood and Family Development categories totaling $3,423,500 to support nonprofit organizations that provide services throughout Allen County.

Grants totaling more than $3 million for early childhood and family development in Allen County

Fort Wayne, Indiana (December 3, 2021) – The Foellinger Foundation Board of Directors has approved grants in the Early Childhood and Family Development categories totaling $3,423,500 to support nonprofit organizations that provide services throughout Allen County.

“These organizations reflect the Foundation’s focus on supporting children and families in Allen County,” said Ed Kominowski, Foundation President. “The Foundation’s strategy is to support effective nonprofits emphasizing clients with the most economic need and least opportunity. We are grateful to these nonprofit organizations that provide crucial services in our community. Their dedication helps improve the lives of area children and families.”

  • Amani Family Services $60,000 – three-year operating support
  • Associated Churches $165,000 – three-year operating support
  • Blue Jacket $165,000 – three-year operating support
  • Community Harvest Food Bank $90,000 – three-year operating support
  • Community Transportation Network $120,000 – three-year operating support
  • Cross Connections $10,000 – one-year operating support
  • Early Childhood Alliance $480,000 – three-year operating support for Allen County programs
  • East Wayne Street Center $195,000 – three-year operating support
  • Fort Wayne Society of St. Vincent de Paul $51,000 – three-year operating support
  • Interfaith Hospitality Network $40,000 – one-year operating support
  • The Learning Community $25,000 – one-year operating support
  • Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program $45,000 – three-year operating support
  • Martin Luther King School $345,000 – three-year operating support
  • Mental Health America in Allen County $7,500 – one-year program support for Cedars Hope
  • NeighborLink $97,500 – three-year operating support
  • Northeast Indiana Positive Resource Connection $105,000 – three-year operating support
  • Redemption House Ministry $10,000 – one-year operating support
  • SCAN $120,000 – two-year operating support for Allen County programs
  • Southeast Youth Council $270,000 – three-year operating support
  • Super Shot $20,000 – one-year operating support
  • Turnstone $540,000 – three-year operating support for Allen County programs
  • Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana $90,000 – three-year operating support
  • Wellspring Interfaith Social Services $372,500 – two-year operating support
