Today, Greater Fort Wayne Inc. launched its SHOP SMALLidays promotion for 2021, encouraging shoppers to “look local first” as they search for holiday gifts.

Fort Wayne, Indiana (November 22, 2021) – The holiday season is the perfect time to support local small businesses. That’s why Greater Fort Wayne Inc. today launched its SHOP SMALLidays promotion for 2021, encouraging shoppers to “look local first” as they search for holiday gifts. So far, 42 companies have listed deals and discounts at https://www.greaterfortwayneinc.com/chamber/small-business-saturday-2020/.

“Small-business owners bring an incredible amount of passion, expertise, and commitment to the community. They work hard to give Allen County its own unique flavor,” said Aaryn Eady, director of investor engagement at Greater Fort Wayne Inc. “We hope people make it a habit to shop local and support small businesses—throughout the holiday season and year-round. According to a 2018 study commissioned by American Express, for every dollar spent at a small business in the U.S., approximately 67 cents stays in the local community.
