Fright Night Creeps Back into Downtown Fort Wayne
Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 21, 2021) – Encounter something unusually haunted in Downtown Fort Wayne. Dare you join us for Fort Wayne’s most-anticipated Halloween spooktacular event?
The 2021 Fright Night event, presented by Flagstar Bank and your Downtown Improvement District, returns for another year of family-friendly festivities enjoyable for all ages. The event kicks off on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
Before you join the ranks of the undead in this year’s Zombie Walk, don’t forget to check out the pre-parade activities taking place all around Downtown from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. For a complete listing of these activities, go to FrightNightDowntown.com.
Then join us for the free Zombie Walk pre-party from 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Zombie Central, located this year at the Indiana Michigan Power Center Plaza at 110 East Wayne Street. Come dressed up in your best Zombie costume and makeup to enjoy all the ghoulish activities Zombie Central has to offer:
- Dress your scariest self and capture it all on camera at the Flagstar Bank Photo Booooth.
- Hungry to compete? Enter the Zombie Brain (cake) Eating Contest. The contest winner will lead the Zombie Walk as the Zombie Master!
- Kids can take part in the Majic 95.1 Magic Mystery Cauldron to receive hidden Halloween treats.
- Win prizes and register to receive complimentary tickets at the Classic Hits 101.7 Wheel of Misfortune.
- Experience live entertainment and musical performances by PlumDingo and the Fort Wayne Fright Orchestra at the ALT 102.3/WANE 15 Music Stage.
- Enjoy local dining at one of our outstanding Downtown restaurants to fulfill your dreadful cravings.
*Due to COVID-19 precautions, we will not offer face painting on-site this year. We strongly encourage everyone to wear a face mask.
Watch the city come alive during the always popular Zombie Walk beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Indiana Michigan Power Center Plaza. Look for the ALT 102.3 Survival Truck to follow the area’s biggest zombie parade as thousands of the undead make their way through the streets of Downtown Fort Wayne.
Pick up your Fright Night Survival Map during regular business hours starting on Monday, October 4, 2021, at any of the following locations: Downtown Improvement District, Visit Fort Wayne, Allen County Public Library, Embassy Theatre, and the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
