Tonight’s Fort Wayne, Indiana weather story from the National Weather Service:

Rain continues tonight with possible localized flooding
Flood Watch remains in effect for some

Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 22, 2021) – Rain will increase in coverage and intensity again tonight, with favored areas for experiencing the heaviest rain a bit farther west than last night. An additional 1 to 3 inches of rain is possible tonight (see map). A Flood Watch remains in effect tonight for far NE Indiana, NW Ohio, and south central Lower Michigan. The rain will become more showery in nature Thursday afternoon, and will taper Thursday night. In addition, strong north winds will continue to pose a threat of lakeshore flooding due to dangerous waves of 10 to 16 feet on southern Lake Michigan. Waves will gradually subside Thursday night into Friday morning. Lakeshore flood advisories and warnings remain in effect through Thursday afternoon.
