The heat continues
Heat advisory in effect for Wednesday

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 24, 2021) – Heat with an isolated shower or thunderstorm possible will be the theme of the forecast for the next few days. A decaying line of thunderstorms could move into the fart northwestern part of the area late tonight into Wednesday. Heat index values soar once again into triple digits for most of the area. Isolated thunderstorms can’t be ruled out which may provide a brief, localized pause on heat. Slightly cooler temperatures on Thursday should allow afternoon heat index values stay just below the century mark.
