Crowe LLP consulting contract on ARPA spending

One of the items at tomorrow evening’s Fort Wayne City Council meeting is a contract with Crowe LLP.

The contract is for Crowe to develop, implement, and monitor a plan for the City of Fort Wayne’s allocation of $50,815,327 from the COVID-19 State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021. The contract has a “not to exceed” stipulation of $125,000 in the 2021 calendar year.

“At the end of the program, Crowe will conduct a project closeout meeting to review all grant activities.”

The Crowe ARPA Act management and reporting tool has been developed by Crowe to manage application and reporting requirements.

Crowe has extensive managing federal funding. They have also had experience with COVID-19 relief funding with clients such as the Indiana Department of Education and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. They have worked with Hamilton County, Ohio, Solano County, California, Lake County Illinois, Seminole County, Florida, and the Indiana Bond Bank amongst others.
