On June 17, 2021, at 11:00 am, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Old National Bank located at 6430 West Jefferson Boulevard in reference to an armed robbery.

On Thursday June 17, 2021 at approximately 11:00 AM, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Old National Bank located at 6430 W Jefferson in reference to an armed robbery. As officers arrived on the scene, they were advised that a male white had entered the bank wearing dark colored clothing and a face mask and approached a teller. The suspect passed a note demanding money and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect did not display a weapon while inside the bank. The suspect is described as a male white, skinny, wearing dark clothing and a face mask. Officers attempted to track the suspect with a K-9 from the bank but were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
