Warm and dry today and tomorrow
Strong to severe storms possible Thursday night and Friday

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 16, 2021) – Warm and dry conditions are expected today and Thursday. Highs in the 70s and low 80s today will climb into the mid to upper 80s on Thursday. A decaying storm system will move into northwest Indiana and southwest Lower Michigan Thursday night into Friday morning. Isolated stronger storms are possible. Heavy rain is likely, but the main threat in any stronger storms would be gusty winds. Storm redevelopment is expected Friday afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has most of our forecast area in a slight risk for severe weather. Damaging winds and heavy rain are the main threats in any strong to severe storms. Confidence in severe weather developing is medium at this time. Monitor our forecast for the latest updates.
