House Fire, Stage Coach Drive
Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 21, 2021) – Fort Wayne Fire Department units were dispatched to the 9400 block of Stage Coach Drive on March 21, 2021, at 1:34 pm to a reported house fire. Upon arrival, the first crew found heavy fire coming from the rear of the home. Firefighters immediately went to work to search the structure to ensure that no one was still inside and also extinguish the fire.
All occupants had self-evacuated and there were no pets inside either.
During the firefighting process, one firefighter was treated and released for dehydration. No other injuries were reported.
The house sustained heavy damage from fire, water, and smoke. It took nearly an hour to bring the fire under control as fire was found in the basement, first floor, and attic of the home.
