Snow Overspreads The Area Into Early Evening

Fort Wayne, Indiana (February 4, 2021) – 2:30 PM EST 2/4/21 Snow will overspread northern Indiana, southern Lower Michigan, and northwest Ohio into the early evening. The snow may briefly mix in with some rain, sleet, and freezing rain. Slushy snow accumulations are likely that will lead to some areas of hazardous travel conditions. In addition, winds will strengthen tonight with gusts to 30 to 40 mph expected as winds shift to the west. This will result in some patchy blowing and drifting snow into the overnight. These west winds will bring in sharply colder temperatures that may result in flash freezing and slick roadways through the overnight.
