Warmer and mix of sun and clouds

FORT WAYNE INDIANA (January 13, 2021) – A mix of sun and clouds will be seen across the area with the warmest temperatures expected today as highs climb into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Locations east of I-69 may see one more warmer day on Thursday, but clouds will be moving in, limiting the full potential of heating. A chance for light snow (maybe mixed with some rain) will start closer to Lake Michigan late Thursday afternoon and then expand across the rest of the area Thursday night. There may be some light accumulations, but no travel impacts are expected outside of a few slick spots.

Some lake effect snow showers will be possible for Friday and Saturday, but again not expecting much. While temps will drop back into the 30s for highs (maybe upper 20s Sunday) no arctic blasts are in the offing for now.
