House fire, McKee Street
Fort Wayne Indiana (December 23, 2020) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 7:51 pm this evening in the 2200 block of McKee Street. Fire units arrived one minute after being called and found a bedroom on fire. Firefighters made an aggressive attack on the fire and kept the fire contained to the bedroom. The fire was under control in just 3 minutes.
There was no one home at the time of the fire.
There was moderate fire and smoke damage to the bedroom and the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters were assisted at the scene by Fort Wayne Police Department, Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, Indiana Michigan Power, and Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement.
