Chance of showers this evening
(August 3, 2020) – A cold front will continue to pass through the area, bringing a chance of showers into this evening. After that dry conditions are expected through the remainder of the week. Southeastern Lake Michigan will continue to be a dangerous spot to swim over the next day or so, especially Tuesday afternoon and evening when wave heights may approach 4 to 7 feet in spots Tuesday into Tuesday night. While waves will subside on Wednesday, lingering longshore and rip currents will remain possible. Swimming is not advised at area beaches until later Wednesday or Thursday.
