Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:
Warmer with chance for rain
(May 21, 2020) – An upper low that has was stalled over Tennessee for the past 24 hours will start to lift northwards today. This will help to bring chances for rain and possibly a thunderstorm mainly east of I-69. River flooding continues, and additional rainfall from today’s rain may prolong this flooding. Temperatures continue to warm on Friday with low chances for storms across the area as the upper low continues to slowly lift northeastwards. As this low departs on Saturday, another upper low will be moving out of the Plains and into the Great Lakes Region bringing widespread chances for showers and thunderstorms.
