Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Snow for tonight/Friday morning

(April 16, 2020) – Just when you thought it was safe to put away the snow shovels, snow makes a return. Late tonight snow will spread from the southwest to the northeast across the area. Within the broad area of snow, an embedded heavier band of snow is expected. There continues to be uncertainty as to exactly where this heavier band will set up, but current forecast shows it to be between Route 6 and Route 24 as depicted on the graphic. However, the swath will likely be more narrow than what is shown. Continue to watch for updates to the forecast. By midday, snow starts to change over to rain as temperature rise well above freezing.
